Hey! I just got a new computer and dump my old gateway crap!

If it has a trial of M$Office, do not use it. :hand Once the trial expires, you'll get nagged several times a day; you can't fully uninstall it; if you buy a legal version you can't install it; you can't even install WordView etc. :wall

Norton Internet Security 2009 is good :thumbsup but you can probably get a much better deal elsewhere (by all means use up the trial period first).

Note that the Home Premium version has certain limitations - some advanced features are disabled. Not a problem for the average user, but beware if you want to try more advanced stuff. Best to check on the net instead of struggling to do something that just can't be done with Home Premium. :wall

That said, Windows7 is great. :thumbsup I have it one one of the computers here and it rocks. :clap Very good with older/ less capable hardware too. :)
