Need your help lb - is this normal to do this to cats in summer?

That's just wrong on so many levels. To assault the dignity of the king of beasts that way is insulting, especially since shaving your pu... ahem, your kitty kat is so rampant in the porn industry. Why, one could mistake their feline for a toilet brush in the dark and cause further mental distress to this most regal of royalty. One expects this treatment for the lower-class animals such as canines who delight in amusing their masters by acting like clowns, but for a beast who acknowledges no master, being forced to wear a Bozo costume is degrading. The "owner" (and we know there's really no such thing as a cat owner) should know better - he has to sleep some time. The look on the magnificent beast on the left portends "interesting times" ahead.
