I wouldn't rule out it re-appearing at some stage. Do a search on the blogger & you'll see he's quite active all over the place.
I also found it a good resource....shame it's gone. According to Google there was some question about spam content although I'd never noticed any. My guess is it allows them an easy opt-out, coupled with their 'no right to appeal' policy if they feel the content is sensitive. Let's hope he backed up the blog regularly!
We all use Google, but I certainly wouldn't trust them with anything of value, monetry or otherwise.

A follow-on has been created: http://reelboys.baywords.com/
It has just started but you may want to check it out once in a while.

Thanks meeno. :)
This is already starting to shape up as being as useful as the old site! They're promising to replace the old posts on TBS, a few every day.....let's hope the links are still alive!

If you want some of their old stuff:
There is an archive of the site created on 4 January 2010:
http://pub37.bravenet.com/forum/static/ ... 7&cmd=show

If you google for movie title and theboyscouts you can find some pages still in the google cache.
If you search for movie title and theboyscouts with filestube you can find some of the links. ( There is a risk that the archive is password protected and not with the usual password scout but there are not many of these. )
