Who is the SACI?

The Saci Pererê is one of the most famous characters of Brazilian folklore. Brazil has one day in his honor each year on October 31. Saci probably originated among the indigenous peoples of southern Brazil, even during the colonial period (possibly in the late eighteenth century). At that time, it was represented by a swarthy Indian boy with a tail, who lived in the forest and was full of mischief.
However, when migrating to the north, the myth and the character were changed when they received influences of African culture. The Saci became a young black man with only one leg, because, according to the myth, the other leg had been lost in a fight with a rooster. He came to be represented as wearing a red cap and smoking a pipe, typical of African culture. Even today he is represented this way.

The film shows the adventures of Narizinho and Emilia, who want to capture the Saci in a bottle, by following the instructions of old Uncle Barnabé. The Saci, once captured and released again, will help undo the curse of the forest witch and turn her into stone.

i seem to have a problem displaying the letter 'W' on this site,it looks like it was written by a pen running out of ink.the problem only affects typed text(not just mine)
anybody else with this problem? or any suggestions?

If you are registered, you can choose between different display styles. Maybe one of the others is better for you.

Starfish probably has a monitor or graphix issue. The site displays fine on either format. Perhaps he is having some fun with old 'W'?

i just noticed my 'V' is buggered too.

i just changed my board display options from prosilver to flm,problem is gone.

This usually happens when the resolution of graphics card is different than the physical resolution of the monitor or (in case of analog connection) the monitor needs "auto adjust". Doesn't explain why your screenshot looks like that on my monitor, though, and why does the "flm" style not have this problem
