Please, Site Administrator, or Manager, or Owner --- whatever:

1) delete my account entirely;
2) delete all and any Posts/Replies that have been made under my Account Login/Name.

Thank you.

You mean you have no idea what is what and who is who? I doubt that very much.

I can't believe posting this in a public forum is for real without you PM'ing one of the admins. If your account has been hacked, create another login and PM one of us right away.

I'm locking this thread for the moment until we find out what's going on.

Guest left in quite a hurry and we aren't sure what exactly happened, but deleting all his posts would cause quite a disruption in the threads. Instead, I've gone through them and removed any personal info that might have helped someone identify him. I hope everything is all right with him and maybe he can someday return.

<UPDATE> After consulting with mimzy, we decided that since he asked us to delete his messages we should honor his wishes except for where it would disrupt the board, so I've done that and deleted his user account. You may notice some threads that look like posts are missing - they are. The posts that had an ed2k link weren't deleted, but his name is no longer on them, and there will be other 'cleanups' done in the next few days.

I was thinking about this when it was last discussed. IMO the least disruptive would be to change the username in the database to something innocuous like Guest0001, remove any personal info (already done by Phuzzy4242), and leave it at that. We can use this procedure for any future instances (including when someone has to be kicked off the board - hopefully never, but best to be prepared).

There are already tons of posts marked guest; I'm assuming a lot were made by members but their ownership was screwed up in the earlier database crashes. I know some were made by me.
