I will be shutting down early morning August 30th - going to India. I will be back for 3 days in the middle of the month - and then gone again through October 2nd on a trip to China. My computer will be shut down for that time. When I return, I will again share everything I have uploaded previously (except for the Unfabulous TV series).

I didn't post anything new for the last couple of weeks so I wouldn't leave anyone hanging with half-finished files. I MAY have time to do some DVD shopping in China (hopefully) - but I will be with a fast moving documentary crew going to seven different locations in 2 1/2 weeks - so it is probably just wishful thinking.

When I return, I will upload the Mr. India film I got in India on my last trip, which I did not think was that good, but a couple of you have asked for it after I said I didn't think it was worth uploading.

Have a safe trip and stop in if you get a chance.

Have a good time. It is the rainy season in India, so be prepared for it and for flies and mosquitoes.

Well, I just got home. India was a rough trip - went to some pretty primitive areas. China was great - went to 7 different locations, climbed the Great Wall and saw the terracotta soldiers, filmed a large protest though a Chinese undercover policeman got into my face every time I would point the video camera at the police and soldiers.

I was dissapointed with my search for DVDs though. In India, I was out in the sticks so no DVDs there. In China, the DVD stores that used to be in every second block are all gone - everyone there downloads now. I only found one store in all my travels that sold DVDs, and it was a bookstore that only had about 100 DVDs total. I bought 5 including a Zhang Yimou movie - my favorite Chinese director - found his first movie, which I did not have.

Anyway -
I am back up and running and my files are back up on line.
