The Onion is a satirical newspaper devoted to all aspects of American life and culture. It started in 1988 as a print newspaper by a pair of students at the University of Wisconsin, and originally distributed in Madison and Milwaukee. It has since branched off into the internet, including video clips supposedly originating from the Onion News Network.
