B.F.A. thesis film at Emerson College. Shot on 16mm film on location at Madeline Island on Lake Superior, July 2009.
Synopsis:
After discovering old artifacts at the bottom of a lake, Abby witnesses forgotten stories from different periods in history. Through this journey, the young girl finds herself following the footsteps of a familiar face and uncovering her own past. “As They Fade” is an alternative narrative that leaps through time and questions reality.
