Song Concept
This song is about love and loss. If you have ever caught someone cheating on you its a terrible feeling. It ends up tainting all of your memories of the good times. But its important to try and hold onto some of the good memories. I will always remember this girls smile despite the bad way our relationship ended.
Video Concept
The video presents a nostalgic dream-like vision, a day of adventure shared by two young children in the wild woods of youth. Breaking through the tide of nostalgia we search for something pure and good from our collective memories, back to a time before we had grown up, before we had our hearts broken for the first time.
