Synopsis:

Jimmy "The Lightning Bolt" Lee is a former mixed martial arts champion who returns home and is asked by his father figure, Charlie, to teach a group of inner city kids martial arts in preparation for a tournament. The reigning junior national champions, the Beverly Hills Scorpions, are coached by the very cocky and arrogant Ted Barret, who is a former rival of Jimmy's. With help from local food truck vendor Big Mama, Jimmy's team becomes the Underdogs. As the Underdogs prepare for the big tournament, both the kids and Jimmy learn some lessons from each other that will make their bond stronger as they prepare for a showdown with the Scorpions.

A feel-good family film in the vein of 'Karate Kid' and '3 Ninjas', where you have your downtrodden good guys against the arrogant, win at any cost bad guys.

In all honesty, though my vid caps focus on Leticia's character [played by Rayna Vallandingham, an actual Martial Arts star who attained 11 World Championships by age 9], she's not the main focus of the film and probably only has about 45% screen time. Still it's a fun family film with good acting and though the plot is familiar, it still is able to keep you watching to the end. At least it did for me..

Did anybody even d/load this movie?? Was it THAT stupid looking that it didn't warrant a shot?

*sigh* I've still got it in my 'share' folder and I'll keep it there for a little longer, but with all of ART's movies to find and all the ones I'm coming across while LOOKING for ART's stuff, I'm needing to clean out the old 'incoming' file...

We always appreciate your releases, but with my (at the time) pitiful bandwidth, I didn't download 90% of what people posted and still don't. I don't have a lot of time - there are currently about 50 films in my "to watch" folder I haven't gotten to yet - and have other interests like sci-fi and the classics.

I can give you a pity party if you really want one. Awwwwww!
