Dohee-ya AKA: A Girl at My Door

WOW!! This is, like, the third film in the past couple of months that has been found and posted that originates from South Korea.. They've been cranking out some great films lately... :think

Synopsis[es]:
Do-Hee (Kim Sae-Ron) experiences family violence. Young-Nam (Bae Doo-Na) works as the head of police substation. She tries to protect Do-Hee from her violent stepfather Yong-Ha (Song Sae-Byeok). Though Do-Hee looks naive, she hides a secret. Young-Nam becomes involved in a case with her life at stake.

Young-nam was a promising graduate of the police academy before she was transferred to the small seaside village, as a result of misconduct. On her first day in the village, she encounters Dohee, a girl living in the town with a gloomy looking face. As Young-nam tries to acclimate to her new surroundings, Dohee's grandma died in a car accident. To protect the girl from her stepfather's abuse, Young-nam lets Dohee stay at her place, but things become more mysterious as she gets to know her.
Tough material here with a young girl that seems to be the 'whipping child' for everyone else in her family, as well as being ganged-up on by other children in her town. Sae-ron Kim, same actress from A Brand New Life (2009), Man From Nowhere(2010) and Barbie(2011), (all here at FLM!) does a phenomenal job handling the heavy themes covered in this film. :heart :heart :heart

I looked up the movie in the eMule database today and found a couple of versions ...
I have tried only the third link but that has warp speed (over 500 KB/s)! :D

Thanks, Warg. I think I bypassed this (and a lot of others) because I had no bandwidth at the time. I do now so I'll have to revisit all the films I missed (as if I have time to watch them ).

I will add another version, 1080p and not too large.
Korean with optional corrected English subtitles.

Yeah, I had noticed! I guess that one movie or actress reminds someone of another movie, and on it goes. I often see unrelated movies with similar titles getting released (Wildflower / Wildflowers) and earlier in the summer there were several having to do with bees or honey. The mind works in mysterious ways ...
