Seen mostly through the eyes of a girl roughly eleven years of age, this film follows several families residing in a remote mountain village as the political stance in their country takes a drastic and brutal change. A beautifully filmed but equally bleak commentary about how trite philosophical differences among people can often create much misery, especially for children.

I have seen this and it is worth getting, if there are problems getting it I will look and see if it is in my collection of taped movies and put it up here.
Because it is a VHS copy this would be a last resort only if somebody couldn't get a copy of it from satellite.
