I love this classic English I would expect a lot from this version and keep that essence like the previous versions

I have seen four Secret Gardens before
1949 was horrible 1975 at least one episode too short (Colin recovered too suddenly from his illness) 1987 and 1993 were equally good
It will be interesting to see what they will do this time

Offtopic:
When searching info about this I discovered that another Secret Garden has been shot in 2017 but when I saw (previews) at uloz it was from a first second clear that it must be some sort of crap because Mary and Colin were almost adults /End of offtopic

Slight extension Off-topic:
I found that version too on uloz back in January and I was so excited about finding something new; until I started watching it.
Everyone is dressed in those gothic/lolita/steampunk outfits that seemed to be popular in Japan a few years ago. And as you said, the main characters [as well as everyone else] are all adults. Worse even that it's shot on soap opera-ish video is the actors seem to be like porn actors trying to make a legit movie.. By all means NOT FLM material!
Thanks for bringing this film to our attention, ferdi!

I'm in no hurry - maybe you can tell because I never searched for it again, just saw the trailer and figured I'd post it in case someone was interested. Remakes are almost never as good as the original, and the original wasn't very good. I wish movie studios could actually think up new ideas instead of rehashing old ones over and over. Remaking a film is intellectual laziness and shameless capitalization of the original film's success because you're no good at making your own story. IMO
It's a matter of taste of course, but for me it goes more horrible
with every minute I watch it.
Spoiler:
Why they waste almost half of the movie to get Colin to the Secret Garden?
Where is gardener Ben?
To be continued... maybe...
At least Secret Garden itself is quite nice but it's all positive so far.
Spoiler:
And that fire scene in the end...
One can't go more Hollywood with the movie

I don't know about you.
I liked it, the new versions can't look so much like the old ones, or see how Psycho did from 1998, I really liked Dixie Egerickx and the rest everyone draws their conclusions, although there is no OT, it is not necessary in this movie.

You rarely find that suspense, the girl becomes a heroine.
The only thing he has from Hollywood is his effects.
