Of the TV series that have come out lately that involve children [whether main protagonists or secondary characters] THIS series has been my favorite, so far!
I LOVE the family dynamic and sometimes surprising characters that keep the series moving along at a brisk pace..
Though the children are NOT the main focus, there's been a couple of episodes where they became more integral to the plot and had more screentime. As the series continues their characters are becoming a bit more fleshed out which is making me care about their welfare even more!
Up to 10 episodes, to date:

Last week's episode, 'Seven Swans a 'Singing' was both funny and terrifying...
Thanks Devil, for bringing these series' to FLM!!

As you get deeper into this series, there is a focus on one girl, the 2nd daughter called Lexi. And the 3rd one also "got an episode". The oldest girl doesn't have an episode until season 3
I like it that the show is
somewhat socially conscious and address issues like racism within the church and worker exploitation in an Amazon type warehouse, and they offer no easy solutions on those issues, unlike their paranormal cases. This is a good show, with some Disney elements in them: who would believe there are four sisters aged 8-12 years old, acting SO harmoniously and sleep in such a small room together on bunk beds?
