Since recent floods and fires, many have not returned.
Result: mostly Art, Warg, Phuzzy, Kev and ghost (and yours truly) have been posting, especially ghost.

OTOH same as it ever was, e-mule is not dying.

So I've decided to up a bit.
Uhm which means I'm going to improve availability of files,
Higher band width,
More shares with accurate information,
and longer shares.

Focus is more on subtitles,
completeness of series,
more international titles.

Changes will take place from the 1st of december, 2019

When I joined, ghost, there were like, 40+ posters. Where have they gone?

Rich hasn't been around since a little after I first got here in 2009. Many/most people didn't return when we had the sudden shutdown in 2011, and afterwards there were only a few people posting at all, let alone releasing. Nobody's heard from FLL since then - he just disappeared. Katzenjammer was an admin but decided he needed to do other things and hasn't returned since 2012. loverboy had a kerfuffle with another member in 2014. emuler hasn't been by for close to two years. Ptg and starfish found they weren't getting much return for their efforts. They drop in anonymously once in a while but not regularly, which is a shame because they're missed.

People change. Things change. FLM has been here for 15 years which is forever by internet standards, and things move on. ghost is the true old-timer - he was the 3rd member after Rich and infiniter (who hasn't been here for a year). It took him quite a while to find us again, but look at him now - he's the top releaser/upgrader by a long shot. There may not be a lot of us posting, but we're still doing all right.

Thanks for enlightening me, Phuz. I didn't know all that, except for that 'things change' and people do - very true.
I for one, go out half of the year for business sitting in trains long days and talking with people about talking with people, when I have no time keeping aMule up.

Hey guys here's a little update on my anounced upgrade.

I have now better bandwidth! Yay!
Which means I can share more, (and download faster, small detail)

but what I still don't have ATM:

- a cute girlfriend
- time
- a 16 core cpu computer with
- 4TB of SSD

Nope. Working on that though..

Wow, thanks that you named me among the FLM nobility (didn't notice it when you wrote this) - but for the sake of fairness we then have to add deadman too ...

BTW Art. I cannot remember to have seen his nick the last 2 years or so ...
