Maybe Night457 could take a crack at the subs. He seems to have a knack for fixing subs without needing to know the language.

What, are you reading my mind or something? Or am I just that predictable?

I have started on the subs, but I am not rushing it because I do not have either of the videos yet (jezevex or uloz). Of course my rule is to make sure subtitles are synced and the video watched with the subs before posting any revised version.

But yeah, I am planning on doing this -- unless an enthusiastic FLM Czech wants to jump up and say, "No! Me, me, me! I wanna do this one! I love this show!" I would have to bow to someone with knowledge of Czech superior to that of Deepl or Google.

Or course when I "fix" subtitles I am relying on the accuracy of the computer translation, and just trying to turn it into passably natural-sounding English. Someone who knows the original language would be sure to notice mistranslations -- but they have no need for English subtitles, so would be unlikely to be looking at them.
