Six-year-old Maja's world comes crashing down when, in kindergarten, she tells how her beloved single father Morten tells bedtime stories. It starts an investigation into Maja and Morten's relationship. While Maja has to tell about the incidents, she becomes acquainted with a new and unpleasant feeling: shame. That same day, Maja is allowed to take Morten home, but her view of her father is forever changed.
