There is no film and television information on IMDB. If a kind friend is willing to find, upload and share it, he will be very grateful.

I have this written down in my database. Not sure where I copied it from :D
The film tells the story of a childhood friendship, in the autumn of 1959, in Budapest. Jancsika and Feri are nine years old, their lives are tied together by common events: when Feri protects his weaker friend when he wins the glass balls, but the bigger ones get lost from him, and the pranks they do together when they peek into the girl’s locker room and the coach embarrasses them in front of the girls, or loud partisan, annoying the housewife every day. They have no idea what a dangerous terrain their friendship will be born in.One day, under the command of Feri’s father, Jancsika’s father, who was a participant in the fifty-six events, was arrested and abducted. A house search finds the perforated national flag, which at the time was enough for the death penalty.

Version comparison --
Kissonline: 720p, runtime 19:43, no subtitles
Vimeo: 720p, runtime 17:57, English hard subtitles
Youtube: 1080p, runtime 17:29, no subtitles

Kissonline's has a Hungarian historical explanatory text before the subtitles, and Vimeo's text is in English. Youtube omits it entirely, which is why it is shortest.

They play at the same speed and same frame rate. I played Kissonline's and Vimeo's side-by-side to see what footage was missing in the subtitled version, pausing when necessary.

Vimeo's snips a second here and a second there in the schoolhouse scenes in the first 4 minutes, speeding up the pace by 15 seconds. There is a dialog scene with the two boys and the mother of one of them at 7:26-8:28 in the Kissonline version that is missing in the Vimeo. Also at Kissonline 12:32-12:44 there is additional dialog between that mother and her husband. Then the Vimeo version has some extra seconds of black screen after the credits that gains some time back.

I don't know the significance of the missing dialog because I don't know Hungarian! If you do not either but do understand English, I recommend the Vimeo subtitled version. But I still damn that censorship!

And if you are blocked from Vimeo, here it is --

720p Hungarian with hardcoded English subitles
