S Y N O P S I S
Two sisters spend their month of August with their grandmother.
As the Aveyron countryside swarms around them, something is about to disturb their calm. We will have to make jam.
The date says 2019 but the copyright is 2018, so it was probably filmed then.

The director Violette Gitton is at IMDB but not this film. Zoé Héran played the lead in [REL] Tomboy (2011). She would be about 18 or 19 in this one. I have not watched the video but was scrolling through it and was excited when I saw her name in the credits!!! After that I began searching for more info.

Googe translation of https://fr.ulule.com/tete-beche/
Juliette, 16-year-old teenager, sociable, spontaneous, insolent, carefree;
it's the cicada waiting for summer to sing.
Marie, a young woman of 19, reserved, concerned, worried, discreet;
an ant that turns out to be benevolent and protective.
The only bond they have is that of blood, and yet they sleep in the same bed,
face the same events, live together, head to tail.
And something is going to disturb the codes, upset the ages.
You will have to make jam.
Zoé Héran - Juliette
Esther Garrel - Marie
Erwan Deschamps - Maxime
Well, Zoé Héran was playing a little bit younger than her age, but not unreasonably so.

OK, enough research for now, I will have to actually watch the video!

Thanks, Night457 for your research!

This isn't a forthcoming release, so I moved it to this forum.

No subtitles! (I did look, not expecting to find any.)

For short films, it seems that for the most part if there are not subtitles at streaming sites then they do not exist except on film festival prints. Or on sites like FLM. Don't expect the French speakers at TNT to be interested in this one. ;)

Personally I would look to YOU for dialog transcription, if that is something you would like to do! :mrgreen:

Ha, I can have go - but my subtitle attempt on Les inseperables was insulted earlier :x

That's alright, *I* found it useful anyway. I know how difficult translations can be even when the source language is probably definitive, but even the best speech-to-text software will have errors that a native listener will get accurate. We just need to understand the limitations. Improvements may or may not come later.

But ... have you watched it yet? That should come first before any intensive dialog analysis! Do you find it enjoyable without subtitles? Will the work necessary to create subtitles exceed the enjoyment you get from any enhanced comprehension, or the other way around? You have to decide that for yourself.

Sooooooo ... whatever you decide ... if you create subtitles, I will be glad to have them!

Not many lines in this - and a few don't make much sense!
