It is late at night in the outskirts of Rome; Officer Roberto together with his colleague Massimo, following a report, check a parking lot; they notice suspicious movement inside one of the cars. From one car, Loa, an eight-year-old girl, slips out. The two officers chase her, but only catch up with the little girl when she reaches a dead end. Loa is confronted by the two officers, who immediately understand the little girl's living situation and try to bring a smile to her face by writing her letter to Santa Claus with invisible pens. But since the little girl no longer has her daddy, she no longer even believes in Santa Claus. Now the Policemen have a new mission: to convince her of Babbale's existence.
