A teenage comedy film about a young Yorkie. "Rising" opened the first movie on screen. The story of fun gangs of teenage age 15+ hormones gurgling at the curiosity to try on their love and sex has spread out.
I have no idea what the first two sentences of that synopsis are supposed to mean. There is no Yorkshire terrier in the movie, nor a Yorkie chocolate bar. However, it IS a juvenile sex comedy that ...

... transforms into a romantic comedy and then a more seriously emotional and sweet drama at the end.
The main thrust (get it?) of most of the plot follows the perspective of the horny teen boys, who naturally do not really understand girls.
MY SYNOPSIS:
An awkward 10th grade boy likes the hottest girl in his class, but she is only interested in an older guy who is more mature and more intelligent. Our hero plans to prove himself and impress her by winning the Class Science Project. To do THAT, he must defeat the smartest girl in his class, who bewilderingly actually likes HIM. So one of his manipulative friends plots to have our hero distract the brainy girl from her science project by seducing her and getting her obsessed with sex.
Come on, I think you all know where that storyline is headed.
Shockingly, our main leads are actually played by real 15-16-year-olds. Some of the other students are clearly more on the + end of the age scale, however.

Enthused, as I am, to see the "Rising" of the fun gurgling gangs, and I have my own curiosity about how they'll eventually triumph by spreading out their sex, after trying it on, of course.
