At an arts summer camp, Basia, a reserved 13-year old girl feels seen for the first time when an equally reserved 19-year-old camp counselor takes her under his wing. But as the boundaries of this relationship start to blur, Basia is abruptly confronted with what it means to be a woman, and the ways she is still a child.
MOVED: At around 18 minutes total running time, this movie qualifies as a 'Short Film'.
Somber, melancholy little film. This is one short that could have been MUCH better had there been more character development.
It's as if the filmmaker's were lazy as hell and expected their audience to infer the character's action's from the synopsis:

"...as the boundaries of this relationship start to blur..." Problem is; there wasn't enough screen time for things to get 'blurry'. It felt way too rushed.
I knew there was no way this was a full-length movie when Basia was spillin-the-beans to her bunkmate Taylor, 12 minutes into the flick. Obviously I didn't check the running time when I loaded the file into the media player.
