Everyone is there: her husband Umberto, her children Vito and Caterina with their cousin Isabella, her daughter-in-law Adelina and her ex-son-in-law Manfredi with his new girlfriend Joana, her niece Alma (Carolina Michelangeli), the maid Lucia with her daughter Grazia . And then there's Paco, Alma's peacock. While waiting for a lunch that will never arrive, Paco falls in love with a little dove painted in a painting. An impossible love that questions the whole family, called to reflect on the truth of their feelings and on the profound meaning of what remains and what instead disappears forever.
