I made English subtitles. I'm not sure, if I got every word right.

Awww, CRAP! Ghost, your subtitle attachment has an entirely DIFFERENT timing than the eMule subtitle file. The attachment is totally wrong for your video! I originally thought they were the same file and I grabbed the attachment just to get it downloaded and out of the way and I got the video through eMule. I went through and corrected all the timing. Then when I came back I noticed that indeed the files are named differently. At least when I compared your correctly-timed eMule subtitle and my own newly-synced subtitle, our times matched almost exactly for every single line. Does this mean that the attachment matches the sync of the Vimeo and YouTube videos, and that your own eMule video Release is modified with a different sync?

Why did you do that to me? I thought I could mix and match!

I am not a "Native American" as in the kind that Columbus called Indians, but I know the language of the American English speakers. I decided to give dialog correction a try since I waited awhile for pillowbaker and I could not sleep last night. It STILL needs another set of ears, so I hope you are still prepared to listen, pillowbaker. Remy was bewildering.

I made two versions. One has asterisks * where I made changes to ghost's dialog. It includes both the places where I am sure about my correction and also places where it still seems confusing! I leave it to other listeners to decide for themselves what is correct in spite of how sure I am in some cases.
THIS FILE IS ONLY FOR REFERENCE!!! The other version removes the asterisks so that it makes for "clean" reading. It is not perfect but I feel it is improved. BOTH versions have 3 question marks ??? in a few spots where I can not figure it out at all.

So please, anyone feel free to lend an ear and make more corrections.

Thanks for the improved subs, Night457. I'm curious about what I got wrong.

The Quebecois might have an issue with being linguistically lumped together with us 'Muricans, which I only recently learned is supposed to be an impolite or derogatory term. I thought it was just humorous. Oh well, I will own it anyway. Just to be absolutely technical, it would be "native speaker of American English" which clearly often bears little resemblance to the original English from England, because I need subtitles to understand some British films and TV series. Then there are all the ethnic and regional differences just in the U.S., so I am still not 100% "native" for what is in THIS short. The ladies are clear enough but Remy was super difficult. It is probably only necessary to understand that he is a thug and a drug dealer and a dirtbag, as what he SAYS is just "talking shit".

I forgot to mention: none of my differences in word choice really changes the meaning of what is said. I changed character names with reference to the closing credits. I would probably change "Aunt Naomi" (not credited) to "Aunt Nomi", but for a character that does not appear onscreen that would be really splitting hairs... and obviously I do that too much already.

P.S.: Does this remind anyone of a scene in "Logan"?
