In the 60's life in Haiti was not an easy thing unless you belonged to the ruling class or the dictator's family or friends of the family. Papa Doc's reign was very brytal and any deviation from the rule was punishable by death or torture. A young girl is exposed to the brutallity of the Tonton Macoute (the private secret police and milicia that Papa Doc used to terrorize Haitians for 29 years. She does not understand all the ramifications of what she sees, but through her aunt's agony and fears and ultimately arrest, she knows that life around her is not good and there is a lot os sadness and sorrow too. The pace of the movie also convey very well the fact that people are trapped in this world and it seems that it will last forever. The use of very somber colours add to the evil atmosphere that lingers on the town. - IMDb

The parents of Sarah, 8 years old had to run away from the Haïti of the Duvaliers. The father, a discredited officer, trusted Sarah and her two sisters to their grandmother. For a time, secure away from Janvier’s revenge, a violent person dedicated to the new power, Sarah creates a world of her own, full of fantasies, of mysteries and rituels. 30 years later, the pictures of those years intermingle, nightmares recalling a man on the quays that put an end to her childhood

Citronleaf, what tool did you use to download it?

I used Video DownloadHelper AddOn in Firefox. Sometimes it does help where something like Jdownloader2 does not work, and sometimes it is useless. I got lucky here.

Thank you Caleyunior for the emule link. It is VERIFIED so FLM can call this thread a RELEASE. I just noticed it downloaded complete for me before I logged in. It goes by different names in eMule and I got it by a different name than Caley's, but it has the same ed2k hash. It looks like it has a different framerate for different runtime than the smaller streaming version I posted but interestingly MPC generates some of the same thumbs. It also has hardcoded English subtitles. (I will make a DD link for it later.)

The video I got from eMule (Caleyunior's link) gave me some digital breakup when I scrolled through it at high speed. It may have no problems playing at normal speed.
