On YouTube I accidentally found this interesting short film that our friend might like Ghost. The problem is that I couldn't find any information, neither the plot, nor the country where it was filmed and not even on IMDB, in fact I put question marks in the title. I thought of saving it on Mega there are English subtitles included.

Thanks Caley! I changed the subject line because the credits at least give away the country. (Tel Aviv University is in Israel.) It was just posted this month and shot with an S-Log 2 camera so it must be from the past 10 years or so. It is a student film by a director who is not yet commercially known so I am not surprised that it has not made it to IMDB yet. Make sure you login to your MEGA account every few months or MEGA will delete files from inactive accounts. I learned that the hard way, from accounts less than 2 years old.

In case the video disappears from the YouTube account by the cinematographer, I document this information:

On Mega I have a free account with 20 GB of free space, I can afford to save quite a few files.

Just as long as you keep the account active by logging in on a semi-routine basis then the files should stay.

Spoiler: Right now I have 25 free accounts, most of them 20Gb each. Three of them "expired" and are now empty, so if I want to keep the remaining files available for download I will occasionally have to login. It is either that or wait for someone to ask for a reshare for missing files, just the same as I reshare eMule files too.

I don't care, anyway I have an account on a Russian social network called "VK", there I keep all my collections about children's short films privately.

This "VK" I have heard of, I think they stream videos too... My own purpose for online uploads is for public sharing rather than private backup. I deluded myself into believing that the files would be continuously available without any account "maintenance". I just wanted to warn you that just because YOU do not delete a file, it does not necessarily follow that it will not get deleted somehow. I figure that as long as I do not drop my hard drives then I can reshare files one way or another as needed. Of course if I am really concerned then I should backup all those drives too, but I have my limits.

I wouldn't be sure about that. MEGA can delete the file whenever they want.

As far as I know you are using eMule. Why not make a proper release?

Because I don't know how to put the file on eMule.

Are you kidding me? This is even easier than uplpading the file to MEGA.

Just copy or movie the file to your shred folder.
