BTW: Did you know that you can do a preview in eMule?

No, how do you preview?

No, how do you preview?
Go to "Files" in the settings:

There you have to enter the path to VLC on your computer (the .exe file).
Right-click on the file you are downloading -> Preview.

Now the preview should start in VLC, if you have at least downloaded the first and last part of the video file.
So you may have to wait some time after the download has started.
As you can see, it's pretty easy.

Me: I did not need to enter the path to VLC because eMule picks it automatically on my computer when the Preview is available. However, I did need to Check mark the Options>Files>Miscellaneous>"Try to download preview chunks first". All these years I have had to wait until the file was almost finished downloading to Preview it. Now that I check the right box, it is available so much sooner! Thank you ghost for the screenshot that made that more obvious. And thank you Caley for asking!

I'm surprised someone like you who's been around eMule all this time didn't know it. Yes, often video files need to see the start and end to be able to index the bits elsewhere in the file - if it's not got both then nothing in the file is playable. You can even review it's progress bar line to see which bit of a partial download you can scan to to preview other bits. Useful to know to check the thing you're downloading is the real deal and not a misnamed file, or just a similarly named video file that's not what you want.
