The main character is a proper, obedient, neat girl Katya, who gets to the dentist for the first time, where she is overcome by fear. In the queue, she meets two boys: the yard bully Lekha and the pedantic "son of my mother's friend" Kirill. Each of them tries to attract attention in their own way and make her not think about the fear of dentistry. Naturally, Katya's attention is drawn only to Kirill, and Lekha with his behavior and appearance causes her only hostility. But in a difficult moment, when Katya is in danger from the cleaning lady, it turns out that Lekha becomes a real knight. Katya changes her attitude towards him and as a token of gratitude gives her friendship.
