Italian-French Madeleine and her teenage sister Sophie spend summer vacation at their paternal Grandmother in North of Italy. Parents divorced. Their father lives in the busy city, where his job precludes him from visiting the girls, while the mother is spending holidays with her new boyfriend. The girls countryside every-days filled with the desire to see Dad is spiced up by a mysterious peacock, whose sound they often hear. One day Granny Adriana feels sick. The worried grandchildren call for a doctor, who shows far more interest in Sophie, instead of the Grandmother.

No, only on YouTube, I couldn't find any sources on eMule, not on streaming or download sites (despite being 100% Italian). And this film is unknown; I've never heard of it.

No, only on YouTube, I couldn't find any sources on eMule, not on streaming or download sites (despite being 100% Italian). And this film is unknown; I've never heard of it.
I haven't found it anywhere else either. When it was released in theaters, the film received a fair amount of publicity (there are several articles online), but apparently it wasn't well received enough to be released on DVD.
On YouTube, it was posted by the production company owned by the film's directors.

That is the kind of film-responsible behavior that I applaud. When there are no longer any chances for exploiting a property in theaters, home media, and paid streaming -- at least get it on free streaming so that the talent of cast and crew can be recognized!

But those are only in some scenes, right, for non-Italian or dialect?
EDIT: I hear some French that sounds badly pronounced... (still better than I would manage)

Yes, this makes it even harder to make Engish subtitles and they are ugly in the picture.

Maybe it would just be easier to learn Italian. I think I followed her phone call, the girl PRONOUNCES her words instead of just mumbling like some kids will do. (And if it has hard subtitles, the translation can come from the subtitles rather than the Whisper.)

Somehow Night457 motivated me to work on the movie.
At least I could remove the hardsubs pretty well, extracted and translated them:
