Umm where to start with this movie. Well the plot had the making of "City Slickers" but the writing fell very short and the lead boys acting may be in fact that worst I have ever seen. It is oddly enough carried by the young girl. Her character is sassy to say the least (think dakota fanning in "Uptown Girls" coming from texas). If you ever wanted to be a cowboy and fancy movies aimed at children and you don’t mind some poor acting. You will prob enjoy this movie. To be honest I ripped and released this one on the off chance someone was looking for it.

Also the movie is much sharper than the snaps shots show. I dont know what company did the DVD encoding but I hope never to have to touch there work again. Not only was there field disorder but some how there was also field variations... I was not about to spend 8 hours a pass in Vdub filtering all that crap so I just a did deinterlace with a blend. Hence the soft look in the frame. But when watching it the clip does come out much sharper.

Not to offend you, pal. But is this as boring as Polyanna and The railway children? Please, we don't need to fill up this forum with movies just because they exist. We'd all better look out for rare pearls and special stuff. Some of that came to light - thanks to the hard work of all of us. We share them, we heart them, we want them.

Before you came into this forum there was a time when some members really spammed it (not that you would do so, I have respect for people who post that much) and Rich had to clean out many of the threads.

It's just, I fear it to happen again... Like I was telling Debaser (in a perhaps too offensive way, but I use to say what I think without the intention to hurt anyone - we're adults, not children), when he was starting to post completely off-topic movies (girls of 15 and up without any "special" scene). This kind of forums where that movies are posted exists in thousands all over the net.

I try and post what I feel some of you will like.

My favorite characters age range is 10 - 15, maybe 16.

I certainly only release films that have what I would call "special scenes" (Which are personal preferences anyway) and I wont release a film for the sake of it just because children star in the film... The films have to push the right buttons for me

If a film I post stars a 15 year old that performs no interesting scenes in your eyes, I cant help that. Iv chatted to many members here that have enjoyed them.

As your not the webmaster I don’t know why I even bother wasting my time explaining myself to you, as nothing you write will change what I submit.
I also suspect that no one else will change his or her opinions on what they feel should be released in FLM based on what you think.

That was what i said in a post before, maybe some felt offended, but I've seen many and many of movies with kids for kids, in this forums, I expect to find some special situations about children and real life not fantasies or kiddy adventures, First love, sexuality, how are they affected for devorces or special situations, kidnapings or abuses. maybe it was a mistake to use a word like trash or garbage I dont remember well but movies like this in FLM are totally off topic.

When it comes to movies how does one person decide what everyone should like. I'm about tired of people calling movies crap before they even watch them. Just because a movie may not be to your tastes does not mean everyone would not like it. If I think a movie will not be as interesting to everyone I make sure to post about it. I for one enjoyed Pollyanna. No she was not running around naked at any point. But her quorky English charm I found rather amusing. So there is a chance someone else might be looking for it. You will prob not find another rip of it anywhere. So can someone please tell me what the point of this forum is for before I waste anymore of my time.

I thought this was a site for movies featuring kids. I tend not to group to any one age. I know some prefer the younger group while others prefer the old group. Me I just enjoy the movies regardless of age. To be honest nudity does not really factor into my choice. I might be American. That by it’s self seems to make me arrogant in the eyes of most Europeans. That I might add is rather offensive by its self. Anyway I'm straying from my point. I'm not nearly as prudish as my counterparts. If this site was meant to just show links to movies with nudity or if there is a age limit on a movie I'm sorry I’ve posted here because for the most part my movies have no nudity and tend to be newer and yep a lot are American. I have already seen one post that bashed a movie just because it had “American” in the title. Ok fine hate me because I’m American, hate our movie too. But just remember who started them to begin with. Who puts out more of them a year than anyone else. They may not all be great and I have much respect for foreign films. But to bash one based on where its from seems arrogant…

I rip a lot and I rip often. I try to rip stuff no one has seen before or has not been ripped. Most of these movies I have not even heard of or even seem much of a review on before I get it. Most I just rip to disk, copy to a different computer that I do my rips on and its onto the server for sharing. I have ripped most of my childhood favorites and now working into the rare and odd ball ones hoping to find something good. I would love to release more movies like "emmas shadow and Crows" But unless your going to start sending me money its not going to happen. I'm planning a trip to Paris and Berlin this November every dime I make is going to that trip. So I won’t be posting anything really rare until after the new year. Its prob best just to put me in ignore until then if anything because you will prob not like my posts.

I have tried everything I can think of help this community grow. I have gone as far offer help with ripping and sharing. I have posted a number of movies by request in a newsgroup that would otherwise be dead with out my posts. Given I have just over a tereabye of drive space and could really stack my Q I limit the number of files I have in my Q to a minimum so my upload Q is small. I have even given a number of people FTP access to my server. That holds just under 500 movies. Many are my own rips and others are very hard to find on eMule or anywhere else for that matter and I have only asked that they be shared. Never have I asked for anything in return, not bloody once.

Paquini I don’t know who you are. I don’t believe I have seen you rip a single thing. The only thing I have seen from you is leeching off me. You bash my posts yet you download from me daily. Not sure I understand that and to be frank I don’t really care what you think. If you don’t like my posts or movies don’t download them.

Infiniter I have seen you rip from time to time. So I can at least give you respect. But I’m starting to get confused on who runs this site or what its purpose is. Everyone has an opinion but I’m still not sure what the right one is. I hate to put the spot light on rich. But if there is not interest in what I rip I will just move on. I can’t guess at what movies people will like. “Liam” was one of the last movies I expected anyone to be interested in. Yet there is quite a number of people downloading it. But then movies like “secret of roan inish”. One of my favorites no one is downloading. Then movies like “back to the secret garden” and “Secret of the andes” that I did not expect anyone to be interested in people are downloading. The last thing I would want to do is rip a movie not like it and decide for everyone that I will not release it. The fact of the matter is a number of these movies unless you rent or by the DVD or VHS your not going to see. I always try to share it for a little while and see if anyone wants it. Then it either goes to CD or the archives. Plus I have not had the time to watch half of my own rips. So I cant always comment on them.


So let’s clear this. Can someone please post the point of this site. Because I for one am confused. If the majority or just rich decide my posts are off-topic. Fine, I will find somewhere else to post my releases. Because I see no reason to waste anymore of my time here.


Frustrated and Lost

I always thought the site was to highlight films involving children, to share releases of films especially rare ones. What one thinks should be included is subjective, what does it matter what people rip and post on here? If you don't like it don't download it simple.

You are correct, and I don't download what I don't like to. But it's not about me, it's about the forum. I explained more detailed what I meant in the "I give up because no one likes me posting here" thread of lostandbroken. Sharing is one thing, to expect to be hailed for every post (he wonders why nobody is downloading "The secret of Roan Inish") that is made another. I don't want no thanks for what I post here, but If I'd post everything I find nice to view, then I would flood this forum. Only, this is not the intention of it. Best example: Sleepover Club. I found the series very nice and so I posted it here, but there was little interest because the girls were 12+ and no nude scenes in there. Well, that's life.

Pal, it's not only you. I always wonder why people are so damn sensitive.
Is that because the Moslems are constantly starting wars somewhere on the world, just because someone doesn't like their silly religion? Man, please calm down. Being american does not necessarily mean you are U.S. american, which the whole rest of the world hates for what they are and do. I like all people on earth as long as they don't harm me. To SAY something to someone does not harm in any way, except the one is oversensitive or a wimp. I was only asking a question. I downloaded the huge file you produce (because I was curious) just to see Pollyanna and The railway children to be (let me just rate this as I think) "boring" movies. Not even cute children (my opinion, just mine). And if I see the two not cute boys on that new movie I'm only starting to wonder if it turns out to be a boy movie, like the many ones we (unfortunately) have here too (OK, this is rude, but I don't like boy movies).

My opinion does not count. I could stay calm, just to comfort you and everyone here who feels offend by my frankness. But I don't do so. Critic is not negative, I just wanted to sort out. If someone does not like what I post, he may feel free to post his critic. I wouldn't take this personally.

First let’s get a few things straight. This post is going to get personal.

Your thoughts are just your own. Stop trying to think for the group. Last time I checked you don’t run this group and I could care less how long you have been here. That being said. When did I ever say I was expecting anything from a post. I don’t understand the comment about roan inish. But sod off. I liked the movie. Also a lot of people who have seen it have enjoyed it as well. What I did not expect from a post was to be bashed for it. The only reason I even post here was a friend and member of this forum told me about it and I found several of my rips posted here. I have been ripping for a while but I never really bothered with releasing any of it. I figured I could at least help out a bit and I hoped to find some people that share my interest in movies and maybe rip a few.

It had nothing to do with you. So get down off your high horse before your oversize head forces you to fall off it. No one has yet to explain what types of movies are wanted here. If people here only are looking for movies with nudity I’m in the wrong place. That was my point. You make is sound as thou I’m crying like a little girl. Believe it or not some people do like the movies I post. So if my stuff is off topic at least thous who might be interested can still find out what’s new. Gee maybe even someone who enjoys the same movies as me might start ripping too. Be nice to join up with some one.

First off I don’t post everything I find interesting. I try to stick mainly to movie and let each person decide. I won’t decide for someone else. I want you to think about something because I’m tried of typing it and others have already pointed it out.

WTF makes you think that just because you don’t like a movie. It should not be posted here. When did you start making the rules? Why do we bother with a forum then? Thous "rare gems" don’t show up often. A site with links is all we need. "Only, this is not the intention of it." Ok sorry but no one seems to know the intention of this site. You have just made your own and expect everyone to follow it.

Something to think about. Just because it’s posted does not mean you have to download it. If I have the time I try to leave a review of the movie and photos. So people can decide. Here’s a thought... if the movie does not look interesting to you. DONT DOWNLOAD IT. For me a pretty or talented actress is way more import to me than 5 secs of nudity. If that’s not the case for you. Fine MAYBE ONE OF MY RIPS HAS NUDE PARTS. The rest don’t i.e. don’t download them. Bloody simple. There are already a lot of movies on here and its going to keep growing. If you’re worried the forum will get too big. I'm sorry to tell you but you’re screwed. Unless everyone leaves this forum it will get bigger and bigger. I would rather see the crap like these posts get deleted than movies. If you don’t like a movie fine. Leave your own review of it. At least then someone can decide if they would share your thoughts or maybe the things (or lack of things) that bothered you would not matter to them. Just leaving a post that a movie is boring or trash. Is just plain dumb. OK fine you don’t like it. Now everyone thinks the movie is crap. When they may have really enjoyed it.


Maybe I’m crazy but I would rather have a lot to pick from than a few to pick from. For the regulars that already have thous “rare gems”. They might be looking for something else that’s entertaining. I have said it before and I will say it again. My posts are not for everyone. What one person likes another is going to hate. How often I post movies really does not matter. If think a movie looks interesting fine download it. Other wise don’t. I have not really counted. But maybe 1 or 2 new movies a week get posted. I post 3 or 4. At least it gives people something to pick from. Something is better than nothing…


Grah… I’m done with this topic for now…
