In Missouri, during the 1840s, young Huck Finn fearful of his drunkard father and yearning for adventure, leaves his foster family and joins with runaway slave Jim in a voyage down the Mississippi River toward slavery free states.

Mostly a Boy movie. It is sanitized like most movie adaptations but still seems to follow the novel's plot. Elijah Wood is awfully pretty, but likewise seems rather scrubbed clean to be playing Huck! Maybe it was simply all the time spent in the river.
