I suggest Razorback2, but as with all the servers, make sure its not a fake one!....... peerguardian takes care of that wee problem

Peer Guardian is a third party app; very good, highly recommended.

:
However, eMule already has IPFilter support built in. Enable it in preferences, then update it just like you would update Peer Guardian.
This is not a optional thing. Like Antivirus and firewall, IPFiltering is absolutely essential. There are many anti-p2p activists out there who are putting a lot of effort and money into sabotaging the functioning of p2p clients. Some companies even put out fake files with their product's name to frustrate piracy, although I get their point of view.
SonnyBoy servers are all fake. Avoid them like the plague. Enabling IPFilter will do that automatically.

A lot of other servers are there purely to collect data for possible prosecution sometime in the future. IPFilters protect you against those too.
http://emulepawcio.sourceforge.net/nieu ... filter.dat is a good one, but there are many others that are just as good.
Be safe. :thumbup1:

I cant find a preferences button on emule, only an options button.
From options I see a box to tick called safe connect... is that it? Otherwise, where exactly do I find this filter on emule??
Thanks

If you use some emule mod like omicron you can see the country flag near the server and Razorback is from Belgium.
USA Razorback servers are fake I think.
the
real Razor back did seem to go down for a couple of days

2.0 is back now.
don't use the US Razorback servers, they are not safe!
if in doubt and there is no razorback, try bytedevils or donkeyserver
