safeurl not needed for own forum links

Could you please fix it so that links to other pages of our forum (referenced by the poster) do not have to go through the safeurl thingy?

It forces me to login again every time. :( :P :eh

I'm not sure what you're saying, but when I click on the link, it opens in a new window; thus my original page never leaves FLM, and login is never a problem.

Can you right click on the links and choose 'open link in new window'?

(I'm using Mozilla as my Browser, btw [in case that makes any difference...])

Good luck with it, emuler.

In my case, when I click the link, a new page opens. I get the safeurl intermediate page, then I get a FLM forum login page. From what I can make out, the safeurl thingy strips away not only the referrer info, but my identity as well, so the forum doesn't know who I am and asks me to login again for that page.

There is no problem with the original page and with the forum; just the linked pages don't show.

Using IE 6.0.2900.2180.xpsp_sp2_gdr.050301-1519

You really have to login again? If you have cookies enabled, this should not happen.

BTW: I am using Opera. It opens every new link in a new tab, not a new window.

Just enable session cookies and should work fine, but I suspect you may be using a proxy. In some cases, this will work fine, but some proxies do not allow the credentials to be passed. The only answer is try another proxy.

Test if this is the case by turning off proxy, make sure you have session cookies enabled and see if you can either open new tab ib FF (or in IE 7 now !), or in IE6 open in new window - good luck.
