I have the DVD set with Nordic subs. I've found subs in practically every language except English.

No, more. 5 episodes of about 90 mins.
Perhaps there is a another version out.

I didn't find this film released here and it sounds like an FLM movie (maybe infiniter or emuler can confirm??). I did a mule search and came up with these. They are UNVERIFIED (I haven't downloaded them) but ShortyPower reports a full source for each. There are subtitle files on eMule too, but only for the 8-part versions none of which had complete sources. Until these links are confirmed, I'll leave this in [REQ]uests.

Still no English subs?

This is a fairy tale set in fairyland - the various kingdoms belong to various fairytales. However, IIRC, the actors are all adults, except in a few short flashbacks of when they were young. Children love it - the camerawork and sets and costumes are terrific.

Btw. there should be 9 episodes.

I saw sub files in the eMule search but not for the links I posted. I don't know if any of them were in English or for hearing-impaired. Since there are only adults in this, it's not really on-topic so I'm moving to Verified Off-Topic. If someone's still interested in it they can maybe post good links later.

Whole series from the 3 dvd set is well seeded on torrent. Subs mentioned: Danish, Finnish, Norwegian, Swedish. I don't think it came with English subtitles.

I checked on Amazon the set only mentions Dutch subs. So I am inclined to think you are S.O.L. on English subs, but the whole series as mentioned is easy to find on torrent with a simple search if anyone wants it.

As I mentioned in the very first post, I have the DVD set. I did find English subs, but they don't go with the DVD - someone had ripped the individual episodes and subs and released the whole lot as a set, but that torrent is dead now. I think it might have been a SATrip, because the subs didn't fit in a number of places.
