This is part of a series of short movies based on stories by Astrid Lindgren. All of them were made by up and coming, young swedish directors. Some other shorts in this serie was Gull Pian, Allra Käraste Syster, and Hoppa Högst.

It's about a little boy pretending to be a robber & thief when playing in the forest. A long time after his grandmother has called him to come home, he enters the cabin to find it empty with no trace of his granny.. But in his mothers locker for the dolls he sees a doll with the name Mimmi..

Wow! The Pix on this one remind me of 'Gull Pian'.

A lot of these were released in Germany on a DVD series titled; 'Geschichten für Kinder' [Stories for Children]. I don't know how many DVD's were released, but I have the first 3. Unfortunantly 'Gull Pian' wasn't on any of them. I think that's my favorite to date; though 'Allra Käraste Syster' is nice too. (That's in the German collection titled 'Allerliebste Schwester'.)

I look forward to seeing THIS one!

Can someone please also reshare these other shorts ("Ingen rövare finns i skogen", "Gull Pian" and "Hoppa Högst")?

Thanks, Phuzzy, for your efforts, but those links have been posted here before and I added them to my download queue already in last August. So far only Gull-Pian has some degree of completeness, others are still at 0%
