This is such a great song and video, it deserves a HQ release!!!

I found a file called "MTV DVD - Ligabue - Piccola Stella Senza Cielo.VOB", but the ripper has fucked it up (resolution 352x576 :wall).

Another file I found (~90MB, >100 sources) turned out to be "A Walk in the Forest starring Olga and Peter" :think

Can anyone find a proper DVD rip?

Translates to Little Star Without Sky. This is a neat video, thanks Lewis. I like the surreal, and I like the bottomless chasm effect - tweaks the acrophobia doncha know. Hmmm, crystals - good idea!

I agree, this was one of my favorites of the early videos posted here. :thumbsup Thanks for bumping this thread.

I found the VOB version 3 years ago and am surprised I didn't post it. The 352x576 size isn't really a fuckup, it's interlaced and you can think of it as 352x(288x2). Could be it could have been encoded differently but VLC and MPC both display it reasonably, don't know about other players. Put it side by side with the version already posted (doubling the size so they are about the same) and it looks much better.

Of course this one is also a TVRip, I've never found a real DVDRip and I don't know if it's even on DVD. I'll keep looking, though.

I guess you are right -- it is an interlaced TV rip with half horizontal resolution. I initially thought it was DVD rip because of "DVD" in the filename and the VOB extension. Thanks for clarification.

I don't have the other versions so I can't really compare, but try this one:

Thanks, but it looks like just OP re-encoded in xvid.
