I have this one now and it is probably the BEST on-topic Russian movie I have seen. Don't let the age of this movie put you off. Highly Recommended!
Totally agree! The quality is bad and movie is very dark, but you don't want to miss this one!

Hast du ihn denn schon gesehen oder nicht? Ein paar nette Szenen, ansonsten langweilig. Geschmackssache. Habe andere gesehen, die tausendmal besser sind. Mein Allzeit-Favorit ist MADITA.
Aber auch ausländische sind niedlich. "Heinähattu ja Vilttitossu", aus Finnland, zum Bleistift. Der lohnt sich echt.
Wegen deinem Englisch: Tja, da hilft nur üben. Sonst kommst du im internationalen Bereich des Zwischennetzes nicht klar.

Just a remark, the film is not Russian, it is Lithuanian. I have also a Russian version, which is for me quite understandable, but the actors are Lithuanians and speak Russian with strong foreign accent.
