Here's little Erna, a skinny little girl from Hamburg, with a pert mouth, and her friend, little Heini, a boy, long ago no match for her, but good enough to make the funniest pranks with her. Erna's dad, a sailor, vanished 4 years ago. So the family has not enough money. After a further prank Heini's mother is horror-stricken about the "dangerous impact" Erna has about her son. But the two kids continue with it. Strange, that all this pranks cause a very good impact on all people in the proximity. Erna is a kind of "DEUS EX MACHINA" for the people, and in the end she gets her reward by finding her father. Her mother, deeply disappointed, will not have him back. But there are still Erna and Heini ...

This is sooo good.

There has to be loads of this type of film and tv series from the 60s/70s, with the type of attire worn all the time. Maybe some of our foreign members can advise ? I suspect that Scandinavia, Russia, Germany and France would be excellent starting points.
