Adriana (Paulina Gaitan) is a 13-year-old girl from Mexico City whose kidnapping by sex traffickers sets in motion a desperate mission by her 17-year-old brother, Jorge (Cesar Ramos), to save her. Trapped and terrified by an underground network of international thugs who earn millions exploiting their human cargo, Adriana's only friend and protector throughout her ordeal is Veronica (Alicja Bachleda), a young Polish woman tricked into the trade by the same criminal gang. As Jorge dodges immigration officers and incredible obstacles to track the girls' abductors, he meets Ray (Kevin Kline), a Texas cop whose own family loss to sex trafficking leads him to become an ally in the boy's quest. Although Adriana cannot be 13, she plays the part fine.

This is in the German section because: (IMDB = Country: Germany/USA) It's a $12 million indie backed by German funds.

No dubbing or subs, so you have a mixture of (what I assume to be) Mexican and English, although very little English… I have no interest in the language anyway.

I saw this film in French and HD a few months ago but I can't find the link. Anyone have a way to improve the quality of the visibility of this film ?

By the way, this film is shot mainly in English (never in German) and co-produced with Germany, so it should be located in the United States section, right ?

At least the director is German! With the writer, actors, language, and location being from one country and the money-men being from another I can safely be relied upon to have disdain for the money men because they really have little to do with the story or the characters. But here it seems more like a toss-up between the U.S. and Mexico, for the same reasons. I agree with Dave and not Debaser, so I moved the thread to the United States.
