I've downloaded and VERIFIED Rich's link and there is currently well sourced. Art's link shows no full sources so I don't know about that one, but this film can be moved to [REL].
In medieval Germany, poor and witty Till Eulenspiegel fools and cheats citizens, churchmen, and landlords. Although in most cases he uses his wit for personal well-being, he often helps the poor and weak. Eventually, he gains an influential but also dangerous position as royal fool at the court of the emperor.
I must say there were almost no children at all in this movie, and even the OT scene described at RFF was mostly adult with a some boys and was almost the only children shown. The movie itself was entertaining and is a keeper, in spite of it not really being FLM material.

Hmm, if it is off-topic, should it be really promoted to a [REL]? :think

It does have an OT scene and it is on RFF, but the movie has almost nothing at all to do with kids so I wouldn't classify it as FLM myself, but my definition isn't necessarily the only one and there are other films on FLM that are only here because of an OT scene. I'll leave it to the admins to decide whether to move it or trashcan it.

there are a LOT of films here that are only here because of a brief blink and you will miss it moment. but because it has been mentioned as to what to expect it harms no one to release it. this will give opportunity for those searching off of RFF to pass or grab now that they have this knowledge. :cool

My preferred approach in the past has been to ignore the problem :icon_biggrin2
Which is why I downloaded this back when Rich posted it but never did anything with it.

There is actually at least one of these that I did the same thing with, but someone else dug it up and found some value in it and it's now a release.
Which shows what I really already knew: since there are so many different opinions among people, as long as the information is here to make a good decision it's better to REL. As long as there is some justification to having it here at all, and RFF provides that.

Moving to REL, after putting a warning on Art's link that downloading it is probably a waste of time. Thanks Phuzzy! :clap

Suggesting it might not be OT because the children are boys is discriminatory!
Boys certainly don’t give me the horn, but they certainly do others ;)

Also, a film doesn’t have to be about kids to be on FLM, just as long as the boy/boys or girl/girls are doing something at least vaguely interesting at some point in the movie, as is the case with a ton of films here on the board.

Anyway, good call giving the warning. No way should it be removed from release.

Yes, this always has been some kind of problem in this forum. We have so many movies posted with maybe only 2 or 3 seconds of OT ... As long as the poster makes it clear, it always has been ok for me.. People can download it or not if they don't like to.

For me FLM is also just a very big database of movies with children.

I didn't say it wasn't OT because the children were boys, I said it wasn't really FLM because there were almost no children AT ALL. I don't really care whether or not skin is shown as long as the children are at least some of the focus of the movie, not merely stage props for a few minutes in an otherwise all-adult film. None of the kids in Till Eulenspiegel have even minor roles, they're just window dressing and not much of that.
