La Notte di San Lorenzo AKA The Night of San Lorenzo AKA Night of the Shooting Stars (1982)

Set during the last year of the Second World War where village peasants flee from the nasty Germans. They attempt to make their way to the American Army who have just landed in for the rescue. The journey for these peasants become an ordeal but their lust for life allows them to survive. A film filled with human spirit during the chaos and destruction of humankind.

This is absolutely not worth downloading it. The appearance of cute kids is very low, no ontopic scenes. :O(

I agree, this thread is gone soon ;) The girl is there to show set expressions at the appropriate time, no self-awareness. And the movie does not focus on childhood moments at all :evil:

Having just previewed this I have to disagree with both of you. Features two lovely actresses, both of who are shown fairly regularly in growing up situations (e.g. when the girl makes the face gurning competition with the German soldier), add to that they are wearing typically fabulous Italian country dress, it is a good story, I believe this is worthy of remaining in Italian REL section.
