thanksGood Morning Lassa (Bokertov Lassa) – (Hebrew with English subtitles) is Israeli filmmaker Sharon Marcus Romem’s sensitive and moving short film. It tells a sad and affecting story of a mother and daughter relationship centring around depression.
Seven-year-old schoolgirl Lassa wakes up, makes breakfast and comforts her severely depressed mother every day. She’s had to grow up too fast. On her one special day, her birthday, little Lassa hopes it will be different and her mother will somehow be there for her.
