Aww, the little girl looks so sweet :heart

This is another movie from the director of [REL] Sklenený dum (1981) and [REL]Sonata pro zrzku (1980).

aka Antony's Chance

This is one of those movies I put on a back burner for a long time before watching. Since Vít Olmer directed, I anticipated another great film like Sklenený dum but I was a bit disappointed. The girl had very little screen time and was only in the film because the story required a daughter, not because she was important to the plot - it was all about the couple's interactions.

I had no subtitles and the movie was pretty "talky" so I'm sure I missed a lot, but this is what I think the movie was about:
A young couple are making a life for themselves in the city when the man's past arrives in the form of a daughter from an earlier relationship whose mother was killed in a car crash that he still has flashbacks from. This causes tension in their marriage and the woman leaves him. He struggles to raise his daughter alone even after being injured at work. A chance meeting in a restaurant gives the couple an opportunity to reunite.
One very short OT scene for about 5 seconds and the girl was cute riding the amusement park rides.
