I’ll Not be Your Friend is the first film in the improvisation trilogy by the Hungarian iconic filmmaker György Pálfi. Pálfi, with his co-screenwriter Zsófia Ruttkay and cinematographer Dávid Lukács, followed kindergarten kids around for about six months to create this heartwarming and wonderful piece of cinéma vérité.

(Not to be confused with the opening prologue of the second film “I’m Not Your Friend”. What we have here is a full 47 minute long version of that 13 minute long prologue. The extras include unedited footage – but there are no subtitles for the extras.)
