Dominique, an impressive and possessive father, and his sister run a large pet store called Paradise Beasts. After a violent confrontation with his wife Cathy, he flees with his children Clarisse and Ferdinand to a posh ski resort hotel in Switzerland where he tries to build a world of illusion. Cathy loves her children unconditionally and tries to reclaim them.
Not a 'fun' film to watch but grips you even through the language barrier. Thanks for bringing this, Art.
