One of the 'one-hit wonders' who impressed me at the time but who sadly never made another movie, here are some pictures of Carrie Henn you may never have seen...
Not really a great little actress, delivering her lines a little stiffly, but she was cute as hell and MAN! could she scream!! One of my favorite 'child in danger' actresses!
Newt:[immediately following rescue ship crashing] I guess we're not going to be leaving right now, then? Ripley: I'm sorry, Newt. Newt: You don't have to be sorry. It wasn't your fault. Hudson: That's it! Game over, man! Game over! What the fuck are we gonna do now? What are we gonna do? Burke: Maybe we could build a fire and sing couple of songs, huh? Why don't we try that?! Newt: We'd better get back because it'll be dark soon, and they mostly come at night. Mostly.
Ripley: These people are here to protect you. They're soldiers. Newt: It won't make any difference.
Ripley: I dunno how you managed to stay alive, but you're one brave kid, Rebecca. Newt: [whispers] N... Newt... Ripley: What'd you say? Newt: Newt. My name's Newt. Nobody calls me Rebecca, except my brother.
Newt: My mommy always said there were no monsters - no real ones - but there are. Ripley: Yes, there are, aren't there? Newt: Why do they tell little kids that? Ripley: Most of the time it's true.
Ripley: [holding up Newt's doll head] Look, no bad dreams there. Newt: Ripley, she doesn't have bad dreams because she's just a piece of plastic.
Ripley wrote:[to Newt] I will never leave you. That's a promise.
Newt wrote:[to Ripley after they return to the ship] I knew you'd come.
Newt: Are we gonna sleep all the way home? Ripley: All the way home. Newt: Can I dream? Ripley: Yes, honey. I think we both can.
[tucks Newt in] Ripley: Sleep tight. Newt: I-ffirmative.

A nice montage of the little Newt with some well timed music. Good to the last line at the end.

Her delivery was a little stilted but I was disappointed when she wasn't in the third movie. I guess the directors couldn't figure a believable way for her character to survive the human inhabitants, let alone the alien.

p.s The only thing I remember about her acting career is her screaming annoyed me

I'm not sure where I got these from originally - they were on an old CD I burned some time in the mid-90's.
