The download link must have been set up incorrectly or perhaps the original file was removed...
If you check vimeo you will see that the girl is Steven Dempsey's daughter 'Tara' and he did several little pieces with her in them.
A few helpful hints for finding shorts:
When I find a short I also check other things the directer and or writer, actors did. Often you will find there are more shorts/movies to be found. 1000's of shorts out there, all we have to do is put in the effort to find them. IMDb, vimeo, youtube and a search engine(Google) are great services to help. Festival websites are also a great resource as they tend to offer a lot of info IMDb does not such as storyline, pictures and may even link you to where you can find the video. The past week I linked to over 30 shorts but while searching I saw at least twice that many trailers for shorts I could not find.
