Eight year-old Lavender Williams (Lily Jackson), who recently lost her mother to cancer, sets off on an epic journey to find her Dad, whom she's never met. Her only companion is Lester (Christopher Lloyd), her late pet who's returned from the grave to help her. But the journey won't be easy for the girl and her zombie dog, for the evil presence of Sheriff Murdstone (Rexx Linn) stalks them at every turn.

That poster art freaked me out with a WTF. Scrolled back and read the For An Angel post with "zombie dog" in the synopsis. The explanation does not assuage my fears. Plus the dog looks like an Irish Wolfhound, scary enough even when they are not the undead!
