Juan lives in clandestinity. Just like his mum, his dad and his adored uncle Beto, outside his home he has another name. At school, Juan is known as Ernesto. And he meets María, who only has one name. Based on true facts, set in the Argentina of 1979, this film is "one about love".

Another excellent film (being shown at several festivals) set in Argentina during the "Guerra Sucia" (Dirty War).

All I can find are very poor SCR and no subs. Anyone have this ?

It was the November or December release at 'Film Movement'... I thought about posting this a couple weeks ago, but I really thought it was already here...

If I don't have the same kind of problems with the subs that I had with 'Off-White Lies', I could have this ready by mid week..

If someone else already has a good copy that's cool.

I'll probably never be able to 'better' what you've got, starfish, ESPECIALLY in the bandwidth dept. when it comes to releases, but I've been able to produce a decent rip at 1.27GB's...

I was able to produce the subs and check them for errors pretty quickly, as they turned out much better than the last set of subs I worked on.

This film is a first-love drama set amidst the turmoil of war. It has some really downbeat moments, but is well worth the watch.

I've really been impressed with some of 'Film Movements' releases of late. Included on the DVD is the short film that was the inspiration for this movie. It's been [REL]'ed here: https://www.first-loves.com/forums/v ... 130&t=9001

Thanks plonkah for pointing out that this movie had not been released here yet. I don't know why I thought it had, but I set it off to the side when it arrived because I had other movies I had recently purchased and I wanted to focus on those to make sure they were FLM material...

Obviously a good job, considering that my share ratio is 70/1 and about 20 people in the queue (most from Argentina and Spain)

I have to admit that I haven't watched this movie myself yet, but it seems to be a nice one

and it got a fairly good welcome. I'm eMule impaired from some months ago so I depended on someone else to download it. Boysinger did it and shared it in filehoster, so I finally got it.

i commented on your post at wildboys.There are loads of movies there that started life here,and vice versa.

Some people don't mind their rips being shared elsewhere, after all they are here for anyone to grab. However I prefer mine not to be shared elsewhere. It is not my intention/want to be shared anywhere else but here. If somebody does though I ask please re-encode it and take off my tag PTg. Thanks

You can always post a link to us at the wild about boys and they can do the mule to get my files like several of their(our) members already do.
