Hey ART!! :)

You've been busy as hell this past week or so!! Thanks for all your hard work!!

I know a good bit about this movie... I have the DVD and I determined not to release it sometime back because I just didn't think there was enough OT material to deem it FLM-worthy. (The young girl doesn't have a big part.. The child in your pix is the little boy, I believe..)

This film was based on a novel by the same name written by Jack Ketchum. He also wrote another book that was made into a movie that made it here sometime ago; 'The Girl Next Door' [ https://www.first-loves.com/forums/v ... +next+door ]. He doesn't shy away from graphic violence.

(His first book 'Off Season' really put him on the map as a writer in the 'horror' genre. 'Offspring' is actually a sequel to that book. It's too bad they didn't try to film that one first... :( )

Anyway, this film was panned by pretty much everyone, although I didn't think it was the worst film I've ever seen... (There's another film released on the same label as 'Offspring' called Tooth and Nail that has a similar theme, and just as bad...)

I'll leave it here for the time being and gauge the responses from some of our other members and admin...

kev.
